Estimated over 800 @ Feed the Children food distribution
On June 23rd 2010 the parking lot at the old Wal-Mart in the Petree Plaza had more action than its seen in years. Over 800 people were in attendance at the Feed the Children food distribution complete with live music from MC One, The Grace Band, Tom Ware and Dusty Miller. 500 BBQ sandwiches, 500 hotdogs, and 100 last minute hamburgers were served to the grateful folks in attendance. Feed the Children provided 800 sets of boxes full of food and personal care items free of charge to those in attendance. At the end of the night many people received prayer for salvation as well as other needs. God did his thing and we, once again, were amazed. To God be the glory!
